Project Class

Every Wednesday, our project class will be participating in a "Big Buddy Program" with the kindergarten class. An older student will be paired up with a kindergartner, and they will complete certain STEM activities together. This month we are doing activities that involve chromatography.

This month in our Big Buddy/Little Buddy program, the driving question is: "Can we build an arcade similar to Caine's arcade?" You are probably asking yourself, "Who is Caine and why did he build an arcade"? Well, watch this video. It's very inspirational.

Now that you have watched the video and understand our mission, you probably understand that we need supplies. If you could donate any of the following, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Supply List

Cardboard boxes of various sizes
Packing Tape
Pool Noodles
Popsicle Sticks
Plastic ball bat
Foam Hearts (Large)
Mini Basketballs
Mini Basketball Hoop
Empty Paper Towel Rolls
Plastic Funnel
Ping Pong Balls
Empty Yogurt Containers

In March and April, we will be covering a unit on the Civil War. Students will learn about the causes of the war, important events, important people and how the Civil War changed our country.

There is a new project!!

Most of the work will be done in class, but some work will have to be done at home. Take a look at the project requirements. Due date is

pending.
